Caleidos adopts Rinascimento Poetico
Caleidos was founded in 1985 and immediately adopted the integrated communication model, anticipating its spread. In 1998 it created Teenagency, the first Italian agency specialising in communication to young people. The first to devise guerrilla actions and unconventional marketing and to discover the potential of the web. The Caleidos pillow fight in the centre of Milan anticipated the new ways of relating between brand and community. Today the two souls have joined forces to create an agency active in the B2B eB2C markets.
In 2024 Caleidos joined the Foundation's network of Communication Sponsors and adopted Rinascimento Poetico, a movement founded by poet Paolo Gambi. Its aim is to create spaces for anyone to express themselves in poetry, without barriers of nationality, gender, political opinion, religion or anything else. The movement is inspired by Walt Whitman's verses ‘The great show goes on/ and you can contribute a verse’, with the idea, taken from authors such as Dostoyevsky and Borges, that poetry, through beauty, can save the world.
The movement was born in 2020 and in just a few years has become one of the most significant poetic realities in Italy. Structured throughout the territory in a network of volunteers, it organises dozens of events in significant locations, from the Milan Triennale to the towns of Lucania, from Piazza San Marco to Sicily.
It has long collaborated with various realities, such as the Bevilacqua La Masa foundation in Venice for an ecphrastic poetry competition conceived by Paolo Gambi. He also founded and directs the Alloro di Dante, one of Italy's main Dante prizes, which he organises together with Rinascimento poetico and the Centro Dantesco in Ravenna.
