International Academy of Imola Foundation | Winner of the call 2025
Fondazione Accademia Internazionale di Imola is among the winners of the 2025 Economic Prize.
The Imola Summer Music Festival, now in its 14th edition, is a musical event of great value, organised and promoted by the Fondazione Accademia Internazionale di Imola. This festival represents a unique showcase for the young classical music talents that are trained within the prestigious Imola institution. Every year, the event offers them the opportunity to perform in a highly professional context, in front of an attentive and passionate audience, thus contributing to their artistic growth and the enhancement of their interpretative skills.
Imola, a symbol of dynamism and tradition, is a spokesman for a different Made in Italy, centred on culture and art, representing a point of reference for music and musical education of excellence. Its international vocation emerges not only through the performances of the Academy's students and teachers, but also thanks to the influx of talents from all over the world, who choose the city for their musical training and growth.
The dialogue between higher education, the territory and the public is one of the key elements of the festival. Each concert and performance is a bridge connecting the young performers with the local and international community, creating opportunities for meeting and cultural exchange. Moreover, through this event, Imola rediscovers itself as a city that not only preserves its historical and cultural heritage, but is also alive and pulsating, ready to renew itself and dialogue with the contemporary world. The festival thus becomes a key to rediscovering and enhancing the city, offering citizens and tourists the opportunity to immerse themselves in a high-level cultural experience that goes far beyond the mere enjoyment of live music.
The Imola Summer Music Festival, scheduled from 28 June to 30 July 2025, is not just a musical event, but a true experience that combines education, culture and territory. With its performances ranging from recitals to concerts by ensembles and orchestras, it represents a moment of great prestige, both for the performers and for the city itself, contributing to making Imola a point of reference in the international cultural and musical panorama.
The Festival is organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Imola and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Emilia Romagna Region, and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola.
