Havas adopts Francescani per la Cultura
Havas is one of the world's largest communication networks. Founded in 1835 in Paris, Havas works with 23,000 people in more than 100 countries through expertise covering all communication activities.
Havas joins the Foundation's network of Communication Sponsors in 2024 and adopts ‘Franciscans for Culture’. Taking up the challenges of contemporary times in terms of communication and promotion, Franciscans for Culture is a project in which the Italian Province of St. Anthony of Padua of the Friars Minor Conventual has put a lot of trust, with the aim of fostering the knowledge and valorisation of its cultural heritage, which includes several centres throughout North-Central Italy (Padua, Bologna, Parma, Brescia, Venice, Ravenna).
Through this project, the aim is to create a coordinated system of places, events, and experiences that recounts and speaks of the human, spiritual and artistic beauty that Francis of Assisi and Anthony of Padua left behind on their journey and that over the centuries has been and continues to be transmitted and updated by the Franciscan community. A widespread material and immaterial cultural heritage that deserves to be known and understood in its uniqueness and fullness, re-appropriated by local communities and discovered for new audiences.
The proposal takes concrete form in the networking - through a new website - of the Institutes, places and activities that characterise the cultural life of the Province, so as to make sites and initiatives of interest easily findable, restoring an image that will be able to attract new digital audiences, who will become curious visitors in the future, aware of the great legacy of Franciscan culture and of the modern proposals that concretise its human and spiritual message.
