Museo Poldi Pezzoli | EssilorLuxottica Special Prize
Since 2022, EssilorLuxottica has supported the Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza by offering the “Eyes on Art” visibility award. EssilorLuxottica will offer two projects selected through the call for proposals strategic consulting from EssilorLuxottica’s creative team to develop digital content and provide international visibility for the cultural projects, including through EssilorLuxottica’s digital screens in Milan and New York.
EssilorLuxottica awards the 2026 call for proposals to the Poldi Pezzoli Museum. Opened to the public in 1881 and beloved by both Milanese residents and international visitors, the Poldi Pezzoli Museum enchants not only with the charm of its rooms—which evoke eras from the Middle Ages to the 18th century, including the Armory reinterpreted by contemporary artist Arnaldo Pomodoro—but also with the variety and richness of its collections. Thirty rooms featuring masterpieces of painting, sculpture, tapestries, lace, and embroidery, weapons and armor, jewelry, porcelain, glassware, furniture, and solar and mechanical clocks: over 6,000 extraordinary objects, from antiquity to the 19th century, immersed in a magical atmosphere.
