Studio Tiss adopts Presidio Culturale Permanente

Studio Tiss is a communications agency that has been present in Milan for over 30 years. Tiss deals with on and off-line, interfacing its intelligence - decidedly analogue - with digital. The watchword is integration, which also means a close connection between these two worlds.

After two years of collaboration, Studio Tiss has again decided to adopt one of the projects that participated in our Foundation's call for proposals. This year, the agency chose to support the Presidio Culturale Permanente negli Istituti Penali per Minorenni. A national project born in 2013 in the Airola (BN) Juvenile Penal Institution from an idea of Luca Caiazzo, aka Lucariello, rapper, trainer, member of CCO - Crisis As Opportunity and coordinator of the project in Campania.

The Presidio Culturale Permanente negli Istituti Penali per Minorenni (Permanent Cultural Presidium in Juvenile Penal Institutions) aims to ensure the continuity of workshops for young people in prison to foster the development of artistic skills, dialogue and confrontation. In 2019, they promoted the creation of the association of ‘Theatre and Juvenile Justice’ associations, together with organisations working in IPMs throughout the country. In 2020, a Protocol was signed with the Ministry of Justice - Department for Juvenile and Community Justice, aimed at promoting artistic, expressive and theatrical activities to foster the social reintegration of minors and young adults subjected to criminal measures by the Juvenile Judicial Authority.

Today the project is active in Campania, Lazio, Calabria, Sicily and in 2023 it will also start in Sardinia. The Presidium is aimed at juvenile offenders and includes workshops on writing and recording rap music, theatre and screenplay workshops, led by qualified trainers and artists.
