Welcome adopts Il Borgo di Padernello
Welcome Srl is a Bergamo-based communications agency with a permanent staff of over 50. Founded with a specialisation in BtoB communication, it later expanded its interests and skills to BtoC communication. Commitment in the cultural sphere represents an element that belongs to the Agency's identity, through the communication care of events, exhibitions, festivals for companies, institutions, foundations and the realisation of original projects.
Joining the Communication Sponsor network for the first time, Welcome has chosen to adopt Il Borgo di Padernello.
The the Bassa Bresciana area, Fondazione il Castello di Padernello led the recovery and restoration of the castle itself for 15 years. It promoted its use as a cultural system and territorial economy project. The Foundation then embarked on the recovery of the entire rural and artisan village, effectively expanding its scope and increasing the cultural and community value of the project, which it called “Generare Comunità”.
The objective is precisely to create a hub of services and build a Community of the Lower Lands by extending the Padernello model to the 7 neighbouring municipalities that will soon increase. The project stems from the need to transform the Padernello Castle and Village into a landmark that is an attraction of culture, the arts and history for the area, thus recovering the founding values on education to safeguard the cultural heritage that tightens the relationship between the history of the territory and its future.
The Padernello project is an adventure to discover our identity, our traditions, but also a journey in search of our soul. The Padernello Castle Foundation wants to be a key player in a new and renewed relationship between human beings, history and nature.
