Arte Sella 35

The project Arte Sella 35 is one of the two winners selected by Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza for the 2022 cash prize. The project is carried out by the Arte Stella association, founded in 1986 by the desire to bring contemporary art to the Val di Sella in Trentino, making it dialogue with the nature in which it is immersed.

For more than thirty years, in fact, the association has been the place where art, music, dance and other expressions of human creativity come together, creating a unique dialogue between human ingenuity and the natural world. In this way, a synergy is created between the artist and nature, which is never bent and subordinated to the artistic will but rather acts as mistress and muse for the works to be created.

The award-winning project is intended to celebrate the association's thirty-five years of activity through a series of initiatives aimed at making this reality known to an ever wider public. The celebrations of this important anniversary will see a succession of events culminating in the production of a popular documentary on the stages of Arcangelo Sassolino's work, an artist of international renown and an emblem for conveying the generational and conceptual transition of Arte Sella, and in the publication of the Arte Sella general catalogue for its 35 years of activity.
