‘A Brand for the CULTURE of the SEA’ is one of the two projects selected by the Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza for the ‘in kind’ award, provided by RobilantAssociati. The initiative is promoted by Mu.MA – Istituzione Musei del Mare e delle Migrazioni, founded in 2005 and the result of a desire to network Liguria's maritime museum heritage. The region boasts a high concentration of institutions that tell the story of maritime culture, such as the Roman Naval Museum in Alberga, the Naval Museum in La Spezia and the Galata Museum of the Sea in Genoa, the largest maritime museum in the Mediterranean. 

A brand for the CULTURE of the Sea has already activated numerous synergies at national and international level. This context is reinforced by the work conducted in 2022 by the Liguria Regional Coordination of the International Council of Museums Italia (ICOM), an international organisation associated with UNESCO and a consultative body to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

RobilantAssociati joins the project with the aim of creating a recognisable and effective brand for the Liguria Network of Sea Museums and Centres.  ‘We firmly believe in the importance of bringing passion and culture to the service of the industry,’ says Roger Botti, General Manager of RobilantAssociati. ‘We try to make a concrete contribution every day, with our work, to the promotion and enhancement of beauty in our country, aware of the positive impact on the people and territories involved. Our support for participating projects is for us a form of restitution. Beauty is nourishment that we draw inspiration from whenever possible.’

Thanks to the design and strengthening of the project brand, cooperation initiatives will be developed to promote the beauty of maritime heritage locally, nationally and in the Mediterranean basin.
