The Capitolare Library in Verona: EssilorLuxottica Special Prize

The project ‘La Capitolare. Extra-ordinary Knowledge’ of the Verona La Capitolare Library has won the “Eyes on Art” Special Prize provided by EssilorLuxottica for the 2023 call for entries. The Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza partner devised an ad hoc campaign on the group's own big screens, placed at key points in the cities of Milan and New York.

In continuity with the path started during the 2022 call with the Reflektor agency, which followed the rebranding of the brand, La Capitolare Library chose to participate again in the Foundation's call to increase the visibility and knowledge of the extraordinary cultural heritage of La Capitolare Library.

La Fondazione Biblioteca Capitolare di Verona presented on its screens, in Milan and New York, a video made by EssilorLuxottica's creative team as part of ‘Eyes on Art’: an initiative launched in 2020 to make art more accessible.

The footage shot by La Capitolare's photographer, Carolina Zorzi, leads through the Library's spaces, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves in its history and beauty. The library comes to life and tells its story, through new looks, around the world.

The video will was shown from 15th April to 12th May 2024 on urban screens in Milan (Piazza Cadorna, Piazza Cordusio and San Babila) and New York (Fifth Avenue), as well as in the offices and shops of the EssilorLuxottica Group.
