Eur's Planetarium
The Eur planetarium reopens with its 14-metre dome and 98 seats. One of the largest and oldest on the planet (dating back to 1928), housed in the premises of the Museum of Roman Civilisation, it has been renovated with major technological upgrades. Today, thanks to new software and high-contrast laser projectors, it has been transformed into a large space and time machine. The new sky explorer programme allows every aspect of the starry sky and planets to be reconstructed on the large dome vault (a 300 square metre hemispheric screen). The planetarium routinely offers a 45-minute 'Back to the Stars' show and is open for ad hoc shows and lectures for all types of schools and audiences.
