Fondazione Cologni: one school, one job
The craftsmen of the future. Attention to young people and their relationship with training and work is a central theme of our time; jobs change quickly and young people often have no way of coming into contact with the wonder of craftsmanship. Una Scuola, un Lavoro (A School, a Job) is the project devised by the Fondazione Cologni to promote, throughout the country, the employment of young people in the world of high craftsmanship in many different and constantly expanding fields: ranging from goldsmithing to restoration, from ship carpentry to marble working, from violin making to tailoring. These are paths of excellence that combine manual skills and new technological tools in each field. The apprenticeships take place through intensive courses, followed by six months of apprenticeship in the workshop.
