The Hill of Arcetri is unique in the world because it is a world-leading research centre in constant development (The Observatory) and the place where Galileo spent the last years of his life (Villa Il Gioiello). There is a project to create an integrated pole between memory and future, research and dissemination in one of the most beautiful places in the world and in ideal continuity with the work of the great scientist.
