Premio Cosmos
It is a prize that aims to promote scientific culture in Italy. The title is linked to the territory that hosts the Prize. Pythagoras, a philosopher active in Calabria in the sixth century B.C., was the first to use it. Two prizes are awarded each year for the best work of popular science published in Italian. A special prize is awarded to students participating in the competition.
