Sailors for Kids
Sailors for Kids is an organization that uses the sea as an educational space and the languages of creativity as tools for expression and growth. Founded in 2022 through a collaboration between sailors and communications professionals, it engages young people from socially vulnerable backgrounds in experiences that combine sailing, education, and creative production.
Through workshops in comics, photography, video, drawing, and storytelling, participants learn to interpret the world and their own experiences, developing artistic, interpersonal, and communication skills. Activities at sea thus become an opportunity to strengthen independence, confidence, and team spirit, transforming the educational experience into a journey of personal and collective discovery.
Sailors for Kids collaborates with institutions and organizations active in the social and maritime sectors to promote projects that combine culture, inclusion, and active citizenship. This initiative demonstrates how the maritime heritage can become a place of learning, participation, and new opportunities for younger generations.
