The library between the sea and the sky
The journalist Franco Scaglia has donated his large library of seven thousand volumes to the small island of Alicudi. The address of the library is step 357, a number that identifies the step where the building is located, on the stairs which cross the island. 7000 books for 70 inhabitants, a new space that becomes a cultural centre, a reading lodge for tourists and a residence for artists.
