The Parco Giardino Sigurtà
It is an ancient orchard, an enclosed cultivation ground, dating back to 1417 and it reminds us of the splendour of the Venetian republic. It later became, thanks to the passion of a pharmaceutical industrialist, Carlo Sigurtà, who bought it in 1941, one of the most beautiful parks in Europe. Endless green spaces alternate with astonishing seasonal blossoms, panoramic avenues, grassy carpets and stupendous views characterise this vast area. Today the park covers sixty hectares and the months of March/April with the blossoming of the tulips (millions of bulbs) or autumn with its warm colours are an extraordinary spectacle.
