EssilorLuxottica Special Award: La Biblioteca Capitolare di Verona
In 2022 EssilorLuxottica joined the network of Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza's partners who are committed to promoting the talent of our country by providing an important space on the Group's digital screens, which are present in the focal points of certain cities. This year EssilorLuxottica reconfirms its commitment to culture and rewards the project ‘La Capitolare. Extraordinary Knowledge’ project of the Fondazione Biblioteca Capitolare di Verona (FBC).
In 2022, our Foundation selected the FBC as one of its adopted projects, entrusting an agency, Reflektor, with the rebranding. In close continuity with the activities carried out by the Milan agency - logo restyling, integrated communication graphics and website -Essilorluxottica is working alongside La Capitolare to support the institution's next steps.
The communication project is proceeding in parallel with the works to refurbish the exhibition route, including multimedia and immersive installations. The exhibition route will cover an area of 1,040 square metres. The first part of this self-guided tour will open in early summer 2023.
On the one hand, this renewal process aims to enhance and promote the Capitolare's museum potential, with increasingly innovative and usable solutions. On the other hand, the Foundation also aims to stimulate its fundamental vocation for research, in order to expand knowledge of the Biblioteca Capitolare's extraordinary cultural heritage.
The reopening of some of the museum's rooms together with the launch of the brand and the site now require a 360° communication intervention that can organically and effectively narrate the renewal of a brand that has more than 1600 years of history.
