The Accademia Europea di Musica di Erba
The Accademia Europea musicale di Erba is a cultural association that, since 1991, has been promoting high-level musical training and the dissemination of classical music through courses, master classes, concerts, and events open to the public. Founded with the goal of creating opportunities for young talents to meet leading performers on the international scene, the Academy has hosted renowned musicians such as Lazar Berman, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Bruno Canino, and Mariana Sirbu throughout its history.
The Academy’s activities are carried out in constant dialogue with the Erba region and its distinctive historical and artistic heritage. Castles, historic villas, and sites of particular significance become venues dedicated to education and live music, highlighting the connection between culture, landscape, and community.
In addition to its educational activities, the Academy promotes opportunities for international exchange involving teachers, concert performers, and young musicians from various countries, fostering dialogue between different artistic experiences and educational paths. Its focus on the younger generation and its commitment to making music a shared heritage are the guiding principles of an initiative that has been enriching the region’s cultural landscape for over thirty years.
Through the quality of its artistic and educational programs, the European Academy of Music continues to serve as a cornerstone for the development of young performers and the promotion of musical culture, combining international excellence with a deep commitment to the local community.
