Museo Diocesano di Milano
Located in the heart of Milan, the Diocesan Museum is a space dedicated to the preservation and exploration of the artistic heritage linked to Christian culture. Its collections chronicle centuries of art history and spirituality through paintings, sculptures, and works from the territory of the Diocese of Milan, offering a journey through different eras, artists, and artistic styles.
The museum is a place where art, history, and culture converge, inviting the public to discover a heritage deeply rooted in the city and its identity. The works thus serve as a starting point for exploring Milan’s history and the relationship between artistic expression, faith, and society.
Today, the Diocesan Museum also embraces an increasingly open and accessible vision of culture, with the goal of enabling a broader audience to engage with its heritage. It is a place to discover in the heart of Milan, where the history preserved in the works continues to engage in dialogue with the city and the people who pass through it.
