Plautus Festival
Founded in 1956, the Plautus Festival is one of Italy’s longest-running festivals dedicated to classical theater. It takes place every summer in Sarsina, the birthplace of the Latin playwright Titus Maccius Plautus, and serves as a key event for promoting the ancient theatrical heritage and its dialogue with the contemporary stage.
