Altre Voci dal Mare Festival
The Municipality of Porto Venere preserves a landscape in which natural heritage, history, and cultural identity coexist in a delicate balance. Its extraordinary beauty, closely linked to the fragility of the environment and the territory, serves as the starting point for a vision that interprets culture as a tool for knowledge, participation, and shared responsibility.
In recent years, the Municipality has developed a strategy to promote its tangible and intangible heritage through initiatives that engage citizens, schools, cultural institutions, third-sector organizations, and local entities. Collaboration between public and private entities is a defining feature of its projects, fostering the creation of networks that bring together culture, education, scientific research, and social inclusion.
Among the most representative initiatives of this journey is Altre Voci dal Mare, a multidisciplinary cultural festivallaunched in 2025, which explores thetheme of care in its many forms and presents the landscape of Porto Venere as a place for reflection, encounter, and participation. Through accessible and inclusive cultural experiences, the festival embodies and reinforces the municipality’s commitment to promoting sustainable tourism and building a community that is aware of the value of the heritage that surrounds it.
With a program that weaves together land conservation, culture, and civic participation, the Municipality of Porto Venere reaffirms its role as a promoter of cultural practices capable of enhancing the identity of these places, fostering inclusion, and transforming a heritage of exceptional value into a shared resource for the future.
