Antoniano
Antoniano is a Franciscan center and a cultural and social institution in Bologna that promotes educational, artistic, and solidarity projects inspired by the values of hospitality, inclusion, and sharing. For over seventy years, it has been a point of reference for the local community, combining cultural production with a constant commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and families. Its activities range from music to theater, from education to social services, helping to make culture a tool for participation and collective growth.
Throughout its history, Antoniano has developed initiatives of national and international significance, establishing a model in which artistic expression engages with social commitment. Its mission, encapsulated in the principle of “music that becomes bread”, translates into an accessible and inclusive cultural offering capable of engaging audiences of all ages and building relationships with the local community and institutions.
Among its key development projects is the reopening of the Antoniano Cinema Theater, conceived as a multifunctional cultural hub dedicated to social interaction, education, and cultural production. The new space reinforces Antoniano’s role as a community workshop and meeting place, highlighting its historical legacy through a contemporary identity open to today’s cultural and social challenges.
