Archaeology of ritual
The archaeological park contains archaeological finds unearthed during excavation campaigns on Monte Bibele and Monterenzio Vecchio, as well as finds from the local area. It is considered one of the most important Italian and European museums on pre-Roman Etruscan-Italic culture and Celtic weaponry.
The museum of Monterenzio and the park of Monte Bibele carry forward the idea of keeping the wealth of archaeological finds in the territory without centralising them in distant museums. Thus one can discover - for example - the oldest sun dial in the Mediterranean in its historical location, in the midst of woods and nature. Visit the site
