Archeofuturo Aps

Archeofuturo APS is a cultural association that promotes dialogue between contemporary art, archaeological heritage, and local communities by developing research projects, artistic production, and cultural enhancement initiatives in contexts of particular historical and landscape interest. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the association explores new ways of relating places of memory to contemporary artistic practices, fostering the creation of new narratives capable of engaging communities, artists, and institutions.

Since 2019, Archeofuturo has been promoting residency programs that host artists, curators, and researchers near archaeological and monumental sites in Southern Italy, transforming these places into spaces for experimentation, dialogue, and cultural production. The association’s activities follow an itinerant model that also highlights peripheral or lesser-known contexts, recognizing cultural heritage as a driver of social and cultural development.

Through collaboration with public agencies, cultural institutions, and local organizations, Archeofuturo helps strengthen the connection between heritage and the contemporary world, promoting participatory practices that link artistic research, site preservation, and community engagement. This commitment breathes new life into archaeological landscapes and highlights their role as spaces open to knowledge, creativity, and dialogue.
