Archivissima

Archivissima is the first Italian festival dedicated to promoting the historical archives of agencies, institutions, businesses, and organizations. Founded in Turin in 2018, it promotes awareness of archival heritage as an essential part of collective memory, transforming archives into vibrant spaces for encounter, discovery, and participation.

Each year, the festival offers a rich program of talks, performances, tours, workshops, and cultural initiatives involving archivists, scholars, artists, and citizens, providing new perspectives for understanding the value of the documents and the stories they preserve. Among the Festival’s most iconic initiatives, La Notte degli Archivi brings together cultural institutions, public agencies, businesses, and archives from across Italy in a large-scale, widespread event featuring special openings, in-person activities, and digital content.
