Associazione Civile Giorgio Ambrosoli
The Associazione Civile Giorgio Ambrosoli was founded to promote a culture of legality, responsibility, and civic engagement, drawing inspiration from the figure of attorney Giorgio Ambrosoli and the values that defined his life. Through educational, cultural, and training activities, the Association fosters informed citizenship, with a particular focus on younger generations.
Since 2009, it has been offering citizenship education programs for schools at all levels, complementing its educational activities with scholarships and study awards organized in collaboration with universities, foundations, and cultural institutions. The goal is to recognize merit, encourage active participation, and provide opportunities for in-depth exploration of issues related to public ethics, justice, and individual responsibility.
The association also promotes Civic Virtue Day, an annual event that brings together citizens, institutions, schools, and third-sector organizations through meetings, testimonials, and initiatives open to the public, all dedicated to the value of civic engagement. Over the years, the project has gradually expanded its network of partnerships and its presence throughout the country, involving organizations committed to promoting a culture of legality and participation.
Through dialogue with the worlds of education, culture, and institutions, the Giorgio Ambrosoli Civil Association helps foster a culture grounded in responsibility, remembrance, and participation, promoting civic virtue as an essential element for the growth of communities.
