Casa Artusi
Casa Artusi is the first center for gastronomic culture dedicated to Italian home cooking. Located in Forlimpopoli, the birthplace of Pellegrino Artusi, it honors the author of Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well, the work that helped establish a common language for Italian cuisine and highlight its extraordinary regional diversity.
More than just a museum, Casa Artusi is a vibrant hub for study, education, and outreach, where history, culture, and culinary traditions come together through a comprehensive program of talks, courses, workshops, events, and activities designed for audiences of all ages. The complex also houses a specialized library, an archive, and spaces dedicated to research and the promotion of food culture.
A point of reference for scholars, enthusiasts, and visitors from Italy and abroad, Casa Artusi promotes gastronomic heritage as an expression of the country’s cultural identity, highlighting the connection between cuisine, the local territory, and conviviality. It is a place where Pellegrino Artusi’s philosophy continues to inspire a vision of food culture grounded in knowledge, sharing, and quality.
