Lollove's rebirth

Atlas of Beauty /
EventStory, Territorial Development
A name for love. It was the idea of Francesca Floris, a photographer with experience abroad, to transform Lollove, a remote village in the Barbagia countryside, into a rural setting for celebrating love and weddings. His photo shoot has travelled around the world. And this idea has been joined by a beautiful inn with an agritourism and an association of young people (the Lollovers) who, having returned to their places of origin, have decided by various means (from the web to cooking) to promote the rebirth of the small village. In honour of the 150th anniversary of Grazia Deledda's birth, the first Daleddian literary festival was also held here in 2021, commemorating the book ‘La Madre’, set in Lollove itself.
