MAC - Contemporary Art Museum in Lissone
Art in the capital of furniture. A Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) in Lissone, a small town that is the ‘belly’ of Italian furniture and the cultural capital of its district: Brianza. Its modern art competition (the Premio Lissone), which has been held since as far back as 1946, has accompanied the town's development and makes its museum a repository of great paintings of contemporary art. Its new headquarters brings together, in a simple and effective setting, all the art collections previously dispersed in the town's buildings.
