The aviaries by Maurizio Betti

Atlas of Beauty /

Maurizio Betti is a skilled craftsman who decided to apply his expertise to building small and large houses for feathered birds. He restores precious antique furniture by profession with his family (his son and his partner), but he has an inordinate passion for home and garden furnishings that serve as shelters, aviaries and feeders, wood and plaster structures for birds. These are scenic and unique pieces made strictly by hand: small artfully crafted nests. He participated in Homo Faber in Venice by making a bird studio. As Betti (or rather Victor Hugo) says: the soul has illusions as the bird has wings: and that is what sustains it.
