Volumnia in Piacenza
Volumnia is a project built around design and art that inhabits the spaces of a deconsecrated church in the centre of Piacenza; the carefully restored church is that of Sant'Agostino. It is a project tenaciously desired and promoted by gallery owner Enrica de Micheli, the spaces are her atelier but also a meeting place open to all, where themes such as contemporary art and design are discussed. The first exhibition 'Method and Poetry', curated by Stefano Andrea Poli, was dedicated to Franco Albini.
