Antigone Pavia APS

Antigone Pavia APS promotes social theater programs as a tool for expression, inclusion, and personal and collective growth. Through workshops, performances, and educational activities, the association develops a theatrical practice that places the individual and relationships at the center, involving people with disabilities, those on the autism spectrum, those with Parkinson’s disease, those with mental health challenges, or those who have experienced addiction, alongside local residents.

Theater thus becomes a space for connection wheredifferences are transformed into resources and the stage opens up to new forms of participation. For over fifteen years, Antigone has been creating artistic programs that intertwine theatrical exploration, care, and community, giving rise to experiences where cultural value goes hand in hand with social value.

Among the association’s most significant initiatives is the Compagnia Integrata di Teatro Sociale I Satelliti, founded in 2009 and now composed of about thirty actors and actresses with and without disabilities. Through the production of performances and tours, the company brings to the stage a vision of theater capable of overcoming stereotypes and barriers, offering the audience the richness of an artistic practice founded on inclusion, quality, and sharing.
