The Archivio Rachele Bianchi
The Archivio Rachele Bianchi was established with the aim of preserving, studying, and promoting the work of sculptor Rachele Bianchi, a leading figure in 20th-century Italian art. Through historical and scientific research, cataloging, and cultural promotion, the Archive safeguards an artistic and documentary heritage that helps reconstruct the artist’s creative journey and the cultural context in which she worked.
The Archive’s work involves collecting, studying, and disseminating works, documents, and archival materials, making them available to scholars, institutions, and the public. Alongside research, it promotes outreach initiatives, collaborations with museums and cultural organizations, and projects aimed at broadening knowledge of Rachele Bianchi’s work, thereby encouraging its appreciation and deeper understanding.
The Archive also devotes particular attention to the issues of accessibility to cultural heritage and innovation in research, developing tools that facilitate the consultation and sharing of knowledge. This commitment is part of a broader reflection on recognizing the contribution of female artists to the history of Italian art, promoting collaborative networks and new opportunities for the study and promotion of artistic heritage."
