Art Nouveau Week
A journey to discover Art Nouveau. Art Nouveau Week is an annual international event dedicated to Art Nouveau, the major artistic and cultural movement that transformed architecture, the decorative arts, graphic arts, and design between the late 19th century and the early decades of the 20th century. Organized by the Italia Liberty association and curated by Andrea Speziali, the festival takes place every July and invites visitors to rediscover a widespread yet often little-known heritage through guided tours, special open houses at historic buildings, themed itineraries, exhibitions, conferences, and in-depth discussions. The program bridges historical research and public outreach, offering new perspectives for understanding the richness of Art Nouveau and its connection to local regions. From villas to urban architecture, from the decorative arts to the landscapes of the Belle Époque, the event brings renewed attention to an artistic legacy that transcends national borders and continues to resonate today. Over the years, the festival has progressively expanded its international reach: the 2026 edition involved nearly 300 cities in Italy and abroad, with approximately 800 events dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of Art Nouveau.
