The Italian Association of Geology and Tourism proposes the initiative 'The voices of geologists tell the story of the beautiful country'. In 2024 it will be 200 years since the birth of Antonio Stoppani. A great populariser of science who was able to recount the natural beauty of a newly united Italy in a passionate journey, revealing geological landscapes made up of mountains, glaciers, caves, volcanoes, lakes and seas through his publication of "Il Bel Paese". On the occasion of this anniversary, the Italian Association of Geology and Tourism has devised a project aimed at the diffusion of a dedicated podcast and a publication to retrace the famous text, interweaving Stoppani's words with the voice of today's geologists, to discover the uniqueness of Italy's geological and landscape heritage.
