Associazione Misteri
It is a museum for the great theatrical machines invented in the 18th century by the ingenuity of Paolo Saverio di Zinno. The machines still parade between two wings of amazed and devout crowds during the Corpus Christi festival. Moving through the streets of the city are 13 ingenious machines, with 76 characters (adults, children, angels, devils and a lamb) that make up real living pictures and narrate the mysteries of the Church and the lives of the saints. The machines are wooden structures with an iron core. At the ends they often have angels or devils that seem to fly through the air when the bearers move by swinging the statues.
