Cinema against the tide. Twenty years of history guided by the desire to enhance quality Italian cinema, a historic event that never stops asking questions and renewing itself. The BAFF is held in April, in various locations, while winds of war are blowing over Europe. Precisely for this reason, the event in 2022 has in the past opened up to Europe and the events that are bloodying Ukraine with the Russian invasion. It does so with the presence of Ukrainian actress Lidiya Liberman, 36, star of Maternal (a 2019 film directed by Maura Delpero) and other Italian films dealing with cruelty and conflict. Twenty years is an important milestone for an event that strongly identifies with the city, whose sensibilities and passions it intercepts through cinema. Visit the site
