Ca' Scarpa in Treviso
The space of the 16th-century Santa Maria Nova returns as Ca’ Scarpa, exhibition venue and vital centre of activity. Two years have passed since the restoration of this former church, transformed in the post-war period into the headquarters of the intendenza di finanza, now a careful restoration has transformed the place into an astonishing gallery for events and exhibitions dedicated to contemporary arts and the culture of greenery, a place mindful of Scarpa's passion for landscape (the Carlo Scarpa Garden Prize). The activity of Ca' Scarpa and a living way to extend the memory and the memory of Carlo Scarpa, architect and designer, among the most influential for creativity and ingenuity of the past century.
