Dance Well
Dance Well for the good and the beautiful. Dance Well was created to promote dance as research and movement in unconventional spaces (museums, artistic contexts, parks and places of beauty) and is aimed mainly, but not exclusively, at the elderly or those with neurological diseases. Consisting of dance classes open to different communities (over 60s, students, dancers, people with reduced mobility), it is a free initiative, conceived and promoted by the municipality through the CSC Centro per la Scena Contemporanea. Every year the artistic direction commissions special creations for the group from international artists, to be presented as part of the Opera Estate Festival Programme. The initiative, born in the small town in Veneto, has since spread to many other places (from Turin to Rome, from Bergamo to Florence) to build through movement and dance another idea of beauty and well-being.
