Fondazione Torino Musei
The Fondazione Torino Musei is the institution that, since 2002, has managed and promoted the heritage of Turin’s major civic museums: GAM – Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, Palazzo Madama – Civic Museum of Ancient Art, MAO – Museum of Oriental Art, and Luci d’Artista, the open-air museum that transforms the urban landscape each year through contemporary art. Through the curation of its collections, research, cultural production, and exhibition programming, the Foundation promotes dialogue between historical heritage and the contemporary world, contributing to the cultural growth of the city and its surrounding area.
With a program that weaves together the visual arts, history, design, and world cultures, Fondazione Torino Musei develops educational, inclusive, and participatory projects aimed at diverse audiences, collaborating with institutions, universities, and national and international cultural organizations. The Foundation works to make cultural heritage accessible and shared, fostering new opportunities for interaction between museums, communities, and visitors, and strengthening Turin’s role as a center for cultural production and dissemination.
