Signs and Dreams of Earth Farmers. Boniviri is a benefit company founded by three young Sicilian entrepreneurs, the start-up has launched the first ‘carbon free’ Italian organic extra virgin olive oil. The project envisages that the CO2 emissions generated by Boniviri oil along the entire supply chain, from field to table, will be calculated, reduced through sustainable choices, and finally reduced to zero through reforestation projects. Our mission,' said Corrado Paternò Castello, ’is to create value with food. Whoever chooses Boniviri does not just buy an exceptional oil, the fruit of the work of Sicilian producers, but participates in a movement that creates social and environmental value through safeguarding small farms, reducing greenhouse gas emissions to zero and developing ecological products. The Boniviri (people of value) are all those who participate in our project: growers, partners, consumers.
