Mart - Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea of Trento and Rovereto
In the heart of beautiful Trentino, nestled between 18th century buildings, the Mart in Rovereto is a landmark for modern and contemporary art. The spectacular structure, designed by archistar Mario Botta, houses a permanent collection of about 20,000 works in which all the major movements of the last century are represented: Futurism, the 20th century, Metaphysics, Abstractionism, Arte Povera, Conceptual Art, up to the most recent artistic experiences. Displayed in rotation, the Mart's works dialogue with each other within the museum's cultural proposal, designed to relate works by different authors, eras and styles, creating a rich and dynamic itinerary. Major exhibitions and in-depth focuses find space in the museum rooms, offering an extraordinary experience that fascinates and involves thousands of visitors every year.
