The Museo del Presente Giovanni Falcone e Paolo Borsellino
Sponsored by the Falcone Foundation, the Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino Museo del Presente was established as a space dedicated to active remembrance, participation, and the promotion of a culture of legality. Through a contemporary approach that blends design, art, photography, architecture, and multimedia tools, the museum offers an experience that brings the past into dialogue with the challenges of the present.
More than just an exhibition space, the Museum of the Present functions as a civic space open to the community, designed to engage citizens, schools, institutions, and visitors in a journey of reflection on the values of justice, responsibility, and civic engagement. The figures of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino thus serve as the starting point for telling the story of the contributions made by the men and women who fought against the mafia and for promoting a culture founded on participation and active citizenship.
The Museum represents the evolution of the commitment that the Falcone Foundation has pursued since 1992 in promoting remembrance and education on the rule of law, transforming the memory of the Capaci and Via D’Amelio massacres into a shared heritage and a tool for building the future.
