Natural History Museum of the University of Pisa
The Natural History Museum of the University of Pisa is one of the oldest natural history museums in the world and houses a scientific heritage of great value, built up over centuries of research, study, and collection. Housed in the picturesque Certosa di Calci, in the heart of Val Graziosa in the Monti Pisani, the Museum preserves zoological, paleontological, mineralogical, and botanical collections that tell the story of Earth and biodiversity, fostering a dialogue between science, culture, and the landscape.
