The Miniscalchi-Erizzo Museum

The Fondazione Museo Miniscalchi-Erizzo houses one of Italy’s most evocative house museums in Verona, created by transforming the historic residence of the Miniscalchi family into a space open to the public. Here, the collection is not separated from the context that gave rise to it: the rooms, furnishings, collections, and architecture still tell the story of a home inhabited for five centuries and of the people who lived there.

The museum tour winds through the rooms of the15th-century palace and features a diverse collection that includes paintings, archaeological artifacts, Renaissance bronzes, weapons and armor, sacred art, porcelain, ivory, furnishings, and a reconstruction of Ludovico Moscardo’s Wunderkammer.
