Oh My G.A.D. – Gallipoli Art District

Oh My G.A.D. – Gallipoli Art District is a public art project promoted by Farò APS that transforms certain neighborhoods of Gallipoli into an open-air museum, where murals, installations, and artistic interventions interact with the community’s daily life. Created to revitalize the city’s less central areas, the project interprets urban art as a tool for participation, capable of forging new connections between people, places, and local identities.

Over the years, Oh My G.A.D. has involved Italian and international artists, complementing the creation of artworks with workshops, meetings, and activities dedicated to the community. Each project stems from engagement with the local area and contributes to building a widespread artistic journey, in which public space becomes an opportunity for dialogue, inclusion, and discovery. The participatory dimension is an integral part of the project, which places people and their relationship with the neighborhood at the center.

Oh My G.A.D. is a constantly evolving cultural process that intertwines contemporary creativity, urban regeneration, and community engagement.
