The Piero's city
Sansepolcro: a widespread Museum. Sansepolcro is the city of Piero della Francesca, whose works, housed in the Museo Civico, are the main attraction for hit-and-run tourism. Museo Diffuso, on the other hand, wants to propose a slow-moving project of responsible tourism. An immersive experience designed to make known unpublished spaces of the city told by the voice of those who take care of them. The project is coordinated by professionals who bring together the efforts of many citizens who manage little-accessible places where traditions, forms of craftsmanship, historical archives, and art collections are preserved. The widespread museum is a community of residents that invites visitors to stop by and enjoy a travel experience that is able to become familiar with traditions and ways of life, stories, arts and great cuisine.
