Miracle in Milan. The work of massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore to give quality food to people living in poverty is not a utopia. Bottura plans to open 1000 in total. It is a project that wants to take care of people in need starting with the primary form of assistance, food. It starts with waste, or rather the leftovers of the consumer society: unsold products or products close to expiry. The fact that it is food then prepared by great chefs (more than 60 are connected to the project) adds value and meaning to the assistance, it is not a mechanical mercy but a fact of love. The project was born in Milan on the occasion of Expo and has developed in dozens of cities: from Rio de Janeiro for the Olympics to the Bronx in New York, from Paris to Naples. Visit the site
