CONDOTTO48
CONDOTTO48 is an independent space run by artists, founded in Rome in 2021 in the Torre Angela neighborhood by five young artists united by a desire to share the creative process, foster dialogue, and support contemporary artistic research. Established as a place for experimentation and collaboration, it contributes to the development of the Roman art scene by promoting dialogue among artists, curators, institutions, and independent cultural organizations.
Its activities include exhibitions, residencies, workshops, meetings, and interdisciplinary projects dedicated to showcasing emerging Italian and international artistic practices. In addition to its exhibition spaces, CONDOTTO48 offers a project room designed to host independent and experimental initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to being a space open to artistic exploration, exchange, and shared growth.
Collaboration is one of the space’s founding principles: every initiative arises from dialogue with artists, collectives, associations, and institutions, based on the belief that culture is strengthened through the building of networks and active participation. This perspective also encompasses projects such as New Horizons for Rome, which reinforce CONDOTTO48’s commitment to promoting an artistic program that is inclusive, accessible, and attentive to issues of sustainability, diversity, and the relationship between culture and the local area.
Through a participatory approach and a constant focus on contemporary practices, CONDOTTO48 has established itself as a cultural hub capable ofelevating Rome’s suburbs as a place of cultural production, experimentation, and innovation, contributing to the growth of a creative community open to dialogue and exchange.
