Panificio Santa Rita

A piece of bread is enough. The bakery is in a small picturesque village, in the shadow of a small pink church, a few kilometres from Caltanissetta. Maurizio Spinello has been running it for several years now, making bread, pasta and doughnuts with ancient grains grown in the nearby fields (there is also a micro museum of wheat and pasta) and it has become the living point of an almost abandoned village. They come from nearby towns and some even from afar to see an oven that revives a village and taste its products. Now, thanks to Maurizio's sons, the pasta and biscuits also travel on the web.
